Opportunities During an Ice Storm

This week, a client told me that he had spoken with several mortgage companies, and I was the first person to explain the process of getting a mortgage as part of an equity buyout in a way that was easy to understand.

Teaching is my passion. My college degree was a BS in Education from Bucknell University, and I use that training every day in my work. I believe a big part of my job is helping clients understand and feel comfortable with the complex, often overwhelming process of buying a home and getting a mortgage.

To that end, every year we offer several free webinars and in-person classes for people thinking about buying a home, and also for individuals going through a marital separation or divorce. I also present to divorce support groups, mortgage originator trainings, and family law professionals’ associations.

Our next webinar, Divorce and the Marital Home, is on January 28 from noon to 1pm. In this seminar, Patrick and I share everything you need to know about mortgages and divorce. The following week, on February 2 at 6pm, we will offer our Homebuying 101 virtual workshop.
