RMC Fall Updates

Occasionally, I write a newsletter that isn’t about the real estate market, interest rates, or new mortgage programs. Instead, I’m going to highlight what we have been up to at RMC this Fall.
Over the last two months, we have taught five free presentations: Divorce and the Marital Home (twice), Homebuying 101, and Unlocking Condo Approvals. We have one more this week – Divorce 101 Financial Considerations. We hosted a Team Brunch for the DCPVL Volleyball teams that we sponsor, and this coming Sunday we will host a brunch for our DCGFFL teams. We also supported our DCGFFL teams in the National Gay Bowl tournament in Minneapolis.
In addition, we bought client settlement gifts from local artists, and Patrick has hosted clients at his cabin in West Virginia. This past weekend, Troy helped a realtor with her client appreciation event. In a week, I will attend the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals Forum in Vancouver as a representative from the DMV.
In other words, at RMC we take our commitment to being a valuable member of our community seriously. Of course, we originate mortgages, and thankfully this fall we have been very busy with new purchases, second mortgages, and even an occasional refinance. But we also want to make sure that we spend some of our time participating and giving back to the area that supports us.
